The service was great, everyone was friendly and very accommodating. However, the food seems a little under seasoned in comparison to other locations. None the less it was satisfactory, and the view was stunning.

Service excellent , we arrive about 4:30 ish, unfortunately only 2 waiters. Food was not up to par, the shepherd pie was all potato and a very small amount of filling. My Gyros was dry, oh so so dry, the waitress, bless her heart brought over some sauce which it had none by the way. The meat was patties that were not real gyro meat. Crystal was our waitress and she is awesome, running around and no patron was unattended.

Though it’s not an historic property—those are my favorites!—this McMenamin’s location is really special. Tucked into a really secluded mixed use development on the shore of the scenic Columbia River, it offers spectacular views and ample outdoor seating. Great place to watch the sunset!

Best location in all of Vancouver! For quality burgers, and a unique approach to pub food, definitely check out McMenamins on the Columbia, where you will get delicious food in a fun, lively atmosphere. Not only that but you will be pleased with the location and its view, given that the restaurant sits right on the Columbia River! With airplanes being seen from across the water at the PDX airport, you will feel relaxed and taken away by the breathtaking river, and the smell of amazing food in the air. Their burgers are not be missed, but their beer-battered fish 'n chips is a staple at this restaurant. Their best cocktail: Dirty Shirley - which is probably what you're thinking. Just an adult version of the famous kids' drink Shirley Temple, this one is laced with vodka. And man, oh man, is it ever good!Make sure to ask for Emily who is the best waitress in the whole city. She will take good care of you!
